Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Mark Juhas, who ruled in favor of allowing the chemical castration of James Younger, the son of Jeff Younger, was served with a recall petition notice Friday.
Citizen activists, working alongside National File and Younger’s Patriot’s Legal Defense Fund are now officially in the initial stages of removing Juhas from office. You can see the receipts of the Notice of Intent to Recall Judge Juhas here, below.

After a years-long court battle with his ex-wife, who claimed James Younger was transgender when he was just a young boy, Juhas ruled in November of 2024 that Jeff Younger could no longer have any custody over his children, and turned over full control of the child to James’ mother, who has been attempting to transition the now 12-year-old James for years.
The elder Younger had previously shared joint custody of the children in Texas, where a judge ruled that his ex-wife could not proceed with gender mutilation procedures without Younger’s consent.
“I lost all parental rights to my sons. Goodbye, boys.
Perhaps, we will meet when you are adults. California Judge Juhas gave my ex-wife authority to castrate my son, James. All contact with my boys must be supervised,” Younger announced on X at the time.
“I won’t do that. I send letters and gifts to my sons. My ex is not required to give them to the boys. I cannot
post pictures of my sons. Let my story be a cautionary one for young men. Fathers have no rights to their children. Do not enter the family law system.”
